Are you ready for the theater release of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice? It’s the ultimate standoff with two of Earth’s mightiest heroes. Who will win? Come watch the original 1989 Batman and the 1978 Superman films in anticipation of the brawl! Snacks will be provided.

Murder Mystery in the Library: After Hours!
October 30th, 6-8 p.m.
Ages 12-18

Celebrate Halloween with a murder mystery night in the library after it closes. Come dressed in your Halloween best and be prepared to snoop, sleuth, and deduce your way through the library mystery. Prizes will be given to those who solve the mystery as well as for best costume.


NOTE: This is a library after hours program. All teens MUST be signed in by a guardian by 6:00 p.m. and may not leave before 8 p.m. without a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are not permitted to stay in the library after the start of the program.

Adventures in LARPing 6/11/15

Have you ever wanted to take part in a medieval sword fight? Then LARP, or Live Action Role Play, is for you! Amtgard: The Kingdom of Tal Dagore group will be stopping by to talk about what they do, demonstrate their different weapons, as well as bring extra weapons for participants to use (don't worry, all the weapons are foam!). In compliance with Amtgard's policy, waivers must be signed and turned in on the day of the program and teens younger than the age of 14 must have a parent present during participation. Waivers will be available at the front desk or they may be filled out the day of the program. Click Here To Register!

Superhero Swag 6/18/2015

Cosplay (or costume play) is the practice of dressing up as a character from a book, movie, video game etc. We will have guest speakers from the Cosplay Guild who will talk about their techniques, show off some of their creations, and will answer your questions about Cosplay.
